Jasmine Green

This is our everyday jasmine, one that best captures the spirit of a traditional jasmine tea. The base tea is an everyday spring harvested green tea from Fujian. The tea is then scented with Jasmine blossoms over several days.

The tea is baked to deepen its flavor, while the jasmine scenting enriches its aroma. The result is a perfect balance of the deeper vegetal notes of the green tea with the sweetness of the jasmine blossoms.

Brewing Guide

The green tea base of Jasmine Green requires a little more brewing care. We suggest brewing at a slightly higher temperature than the typical green tea but controlling the steep time to prevent bitterness and astringency.

In a small gaiwan or teapot, use 3.5 grams of tea leaves. Rinse once and steep for 1 minute 30 seconds using 185 degree water. Add 30 seconds to each subsequent infusion.
